2022 World Cup: NFF confirms Super Eagles will play Mexico

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the national team will take on Mexico in a friendly ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the tournament which will be held in Qatar, but El Tri are among the 29 teams that have booked their spots.

Mexico will play in Group C alongside Argentina, Poland and Saudi Arabia.

Although they don’t have any African country in their group, Gerardo Martino’s men will take on Nigeria as part of their preparations for the World Cup.
