The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone will arrive Nigeria’s capital, Abuja on (Saturday) today for their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Super Eagles.
The players and their officials will depart Conakry en route to Lome for Abuja.
Deputy High Commissioner, Anna Betty Moussa will join other diplomatic staff to receive the team this afternoon at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.

Head coach, John Keister had summoned 25 players for the game and the matchday two encounter against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.
The Leone Stars started preparation for the game midweek in Conakry and will have another four days to put finishing touches to their tactics ahead of the crucial fixture.
The Super Eagles will entertain Sierra Leone next week Thursday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Keister’s side held the Super Eagles to a 4-4 draw the last time both teams met in November 2020 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.
