The Adamawa State Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has dismissed 11 of its workers.

The Commission, in a move to punish offenders, demoted a magistrate to the registrar and downgraded 20 other staff.

The 11 staff were dismissed for allegedly securing employment in the service with forged certificates.

The 21 staff demoted allegedly used fake certificates to obtain promotions, according to a statement from the commission.

The Commission said, however, that it has approved the appointment of Victoria Jonah Polycarp and Yahya Abdullahi as deputy chief registrars for the state High Court.
