The trending and highly needful sharing and of palliatives by individuals, governments and organisations to cushion the effects of the untold hardship and other inexplicable conditions occasioned by Covid 19 pandemic, has been redefined, or taken to yet another heights by the Enugu State Chief fireman – Engineer Daniel Okwudiri Oha.
Reported by Nnamani Samuel Freeman(Nkanu Concerned Citizen)
Having illustrated that charity truly starts from home by first sharing relief materials to the good people of Umueze Awknanaw, his home town; the humble and generous Chief Fire Officer has extended similar gesture to the people of Agbani ( Umu Nneji Ejim Clan), his maternal home.
This is the illustration of the biblical act of unconditional giving at its best. Engineer Okwudiri has ended up engraving his name on the sands of time as one of, if not the only philanthropist to have remembered not only his home town, but his maternal home in this treacherous moment of Covid 19.
Okwudiri’s action of distributing items to Ndi Agbani, makes him the proverbial toad that came to the rescue of a lazy frog in a jumping competition. ( This paragraph represents my opinion of the well-to-do Ndi Agbani in distributing palliatives to their indigents Vis a vis other neighbouring communities).
