The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) is battling a fire that broke out at an Ikoyi residence.
The agency made the announcement in a statement on Wednesday by Director-General, Olufemi Oke-Osanyitolu.
Oke-Osanyitolu gave the location of the incident as Ilabare Road, Ikoyi.
The DG noted that emergency responders rushed to the scene after a distress call.

LASEMA officials are being assisted by a team of the Lagos State Fire Service.
Efforts are ongoing to put out the inferno which appears to be spreading to adjoining property.
