On 30th March when the Nigerian President was leaving the country for London on medical trip, the official information was that he’d be back to the country in the middle of April. Nigerians are now reacting to his continuous absence in the face of increasing insecurity, strike actions and food inflation.
According to reports, when the minister of Information and communication was asked about the return of the president after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, Mohammed said: “Today is Wednesday, this week finishes on Saturday. So, what’s the big issue in that one?”
The minister explained that the government was currently more concerned about the security challenges facing the country.
