Coronavirus: NCDC driver tests positive in Nasarawa


A driver with NCDC in Nasarawa has tested positive for covid-19

The driver resides in Ado village of Karu local government area of the state

According to the state governor, he has moved to COVID-19 isolation centre in Keffi

A driver with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in Nasarawa has been tested positive for coronavirus.

The driver helps in transporting samples of suspected COVID-19 cases for tests.

This was disclosed by Governor Abdullahi Sule while giving an update on COVID-19 in the state during a joint security meeting in Lafia, Radio Nigeria reports.

The governor said the affected driver resides in Ado village of Karu local government area of the state.

He said he has however been moved to COVID-19 Isolation Centre at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi for treatment.
