Covid 19: Engr. Okwudiri Daniel Ohaa shares palliative to some communities in Enugu State.


The popular saying that, ‘’we have not truly learnt to live until our lives have positively impacted on others”, was clearly exemplified and brought to limelight in the life of the Enugu state chief fire service officer, Engr. Okwudiri Daniel ohaa.

Even disbursement of some palliatives donated by Engr. Okwudiri ohaa to some of the indigents and elderly members of the community in obuoffia in Nkanu West LGA.

The kind hearted , gregarious and selfless officer who has already cultivated the habit of reaching to his people through the gift of food items, pieces of clothing, money and other materials during festive periods, said he was motivated and propelled to distribute some palliatives to some communities in Enugu State as his own little measure in ameliorating the hardship orchestrated by the unanticipated global pandemic (coronavirus).


The sharing of palliatives donated by Engr. Okwudiri Ohaa to the people of Umueze Awkunanaw community in Nkanu West LGA of Enugu State.

He disclosed that his benevolent act was made possible because of the support given to him by the governor of Enugu state. “I was able to extend this largesse to some communities in Enugu state due to the financial support and leverage given to me by his excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; He is a leader that is sensitive to the plight of his people, and I pray that God will continue to sustain and empower him”, He said.

He mentioned some of the communities he extended his generous act during this pandemic period to include;Umueze Awknanaw(his hometown), Ituku(the hometown of his darling wife),Obeagu (the native land of his grandmother), Agbogugu(Where he has some friends and relatives) among others. These communities where drawn out of Nkanu west LGA and Awgu LGA, respectively.

According to him,’’ the people of these communities have played  major roles in my  journey of life in  one way or the other and it would be very unkind for me not to remember them now”.

In his words, ”we should not always run to people in times of crises; we  should also remember them in times of abundance”.

Some of the food items donated by Engr. Okwudiri Ohaa ready to be distributed to some communities in Nkanu West, so as to cushion the effect of hunger during this corona-virus period

He finally encouraged everyone to always emulate the patriotic and selfless lifestyle of our amiable Gov. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, by ensuring they remember and help people that are in need, more especially in this period that people are going through a lot of suffering and hardship due to the pandemic(coronavirus).
