The youth wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara state has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to sack his minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed.
The youths, under the aegis of APC Youth Stakeholders, alleged that the minister has been self-serving and his “selfish politicking” must not be allowed.
Leakblast recalls in a statement on Monday, February 15, the information minister had called for the cancellation of the registration and revalidation exercise in Kwara, alleging lack of credibility in the process
Mohammed also alleged that there was no proper provision for the exercise. He added that many stakeholders of the party in Kwara may be denied registration if the process continued.

Kwara APC stakeholders have since been slamming the minister over his role, with an open media confrontation ensuing between him and the APC spokesperson Nabena Yekini.
Speaking through its leader, Tiamiyu Mumini, the youths said Mohammed is causing “chaos” for the ruling party with his overwhelmingly displayed selfishness.
“We want him removed because he cannot have his son in the Lagos House of Assembly while he ventures on mortgaging the future of Kwara State youths by causing chaos in the ruling party.”
