‘Don’t allow politicians to hijack Amoketun’

A call has gone to the South West governors not allow the politicians to hijack Operation Amotekun during the forthcoming general elections in the country.

Speaking to newsmen in his office, one of the strong members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Demasco Crown Nigeria Limited, Prince Thomas Adekunle Amodemaja,  said:  “Amotekun is a desirable gift to South West and the outfit must not be used as a tool by politicians.

He urged those who are against the outfit in some part of the country to stop criticizing it, because security is so important to the people and for national development rather they should join hands in order to rid the country of all forms of crimes militating against the country.

He also  praised national leader of the APC and former  Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola  Ahmed Tinubu, on his political maturity on national issues, particularly on Amotekun which was launched in South West recently.
