The Osun State governorship election kicks off today with many residents coming out in their numbers to elect the leader to pilot the affairs of the State for the next four years.
Leablast.com reports that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is working to retain the state for another four years and prevent parties like the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party, Accord Party and others from winning.
Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the APC is up against Senator Ademola Adeleke of the PDP, Rt Hon. Yusuf Lasun of the Labour Party and Akin Ogunbiyi of Accord Party.
Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the PDP, has arrived at his polling unit PU 009, Ward 02, Abogunde, Ede North LGA.
