Ex-Manchester United goalkeeper Mark Bosnich has said that only three players would escape being offloaded as the Red Devils plot a big overhaul this summer.
Manchester United have continued to struggle under interim boss Ralf Rangnick despite sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earlier this year.
The Red Devils’ dream of finishing top four was dealt a huge blow on Sunday after they were defeated 1-0 by Everton at Goodison Park.
Ajax boss, Erik ten Hag is in line to be named the next permanent manager at Old Trafford and there are talks about many top stars being asked to leave the club in the summer.
“It doesn’t take rocket scientist to realise there is a lot of deadwood there, a lot of players who have been there for a long time and seen off a lot of managers,” Bosnich told talkSPORT.
“As far as I’m concerned, if I come in there and I see that, I’m like, ‘Listen – it’s time to move on’.

“I think the more important thing at this moment in time is who the new manager is going to keep.
“Out of those players you’ve been watching this season, David de Gea has been their best player over the last four or five seasons.
“Bruno Fernandes, definitely, and I would keep Raphael Varane. Everyone else, you’d have to say, is up for discussion.”
