He tweeted: “Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days. We will continue to keep you all updated.”
It was reported that Ajimobi, who was the immediate past governor of Oyo state, died in Lagos on Thursday, June 25, from complications arising from COVID-19. Tunji, in a tribute published on his Facebook page on Friday, June 26, revealed how the politician made a journey of no-return from Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, to Abuja, the nation’s capital.
In another report, the central collective response against the coronavirus crisis was on Thursday, June 25, deflated as Nigeria recorded 594 new cases of Covid-19 in 21 states.
