Having excellently represented his constituents the good people of Nkanu East and West Federal Constituency in the 8th National Assembly, here goes he again by way of giving back to his people at such a time like this that the COVID 19 Pandemic is ravaging the economy, clamping down businesses, and displacing so many people.

Hon. Ujam through his STAY SAFE SENSITIZATION TEAM ON COVID 19 PANDEMIC had in the past few days visited hundreds of families including community leaders, women leaders, and youth leaders across the nooks and crannies of Nkanu land, they went right to their door steps sensitizing them on the need to abide by the Safety Guidelines and Directives of the WHO, and that of the Federal and State Government to contain the spread of the Corona Virus which includes:
Complying With The Stay At Home Directive; Maintaining Social Distancing amongst others.

Hon. Ujam’s Team acknowledged the challenges the Lockdown directive of the Government may have caused several families and individuals at this time thus encouraging them to endure and accept it in good faith as it is only momentary and well intended.

Highlights of the Team’s outing was the presentation of Cash gifts to the families and individuals visited in order to support them through these trying and very difficult times, the Team equally appealed to some of them already reaching out to others in their various capacities most especially the community leaders and the women/youth leaders to continue the good work as the Team will be giving them the necessary assistance and support they need from time to time throughout the duration of this Lockdown.

By this very kind gesture coming from Hon. Dr. Chukwuemeka Ujam to his people at this very critical time the entire world is under attack is him saying:
“I Have Not Forgotten Yesterday”
