Super Eagles’ 2nd assistant, Salisu Yusuf has expressed his gratitude working with Josep Peseiro.
In an interview with NFF TV, Salisu noted that the coaches made suggestions to Peseiro in the 2nd half against Mexico and they are all happy working with him.
He said, “It’s been great working with him & before he resumed, I had two phone conversations with him. We enjoy working with him”

He also touches on the involvement of the local based players. “The home-based players had a chance to play which is good for the first time in the national team & it will make them more confidence with more self-belief“.
