The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), protest in Lagos is underway as the various unions head to the seat of power in Alausa.
Over 30 affiliates of NLC are participating in the protest organized in support of the ongoing strike in the Nigerian University System (NUS).
Various speakers including the NLC, Chairperson, Funmi Sessi and ASUU Lagos Zonal Coordinator, Dr. Adelaja Odukoya, explained the reasons for the protest.

Both condemned the lackadaisical attitude of the Federal Government to the demands of the staff unions in the NUS.
