Vincent Enyeama has made the list of best African team of the decade
The former Super Eagles goalie was superb during his time with the national team
Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Sadio Mane are also on the list
Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has expressed happiness after being named as the best African goalie in the last ten years in the rating done by IFFHS.
No doubt about the fact that Vincent Enyeama was one of the best goalkeepers in the world during his active playing time in the national team.
The former Enyimba star got the chance to enter the Super Eagles in 2002 and was part of the players who played for Nigeria at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea and Japan.
Vincent was superb in Nigeria’s third game with England at the 2002 World Cup as his save against Paul Scholes was an incredible one.
In the team of the decade which is 2011-2020 made by IFFHS, Manchester United star Eric Bailly was also included on the list.

According to the statement made by Vincent Enyeama, the former Lille goalie thanked people behind the list stressing that he is glad for the recognition.
”Statistics like this makes us see the bright things of life.
”Thanks a lot to who so ever is the brain behind this post as all my plenty clean sheet and saves didn’t go unnoticed.
”I was playing in an era where no one celebrates you even when you are averaging 18-21 clean sheet in 38 league games every season.”
Between the year 2002 and 2015, Vincent Enyeama played 101 games for the Super Eagles and won the 2013 African Cup of Nations with Nigeria.
