MRS Terere Obaigbo, a beauty queen, representing Edo State has been announced the overall winner of the fifth edition of the Mrs. Nigeria, a non-bikini beauty queen contest for the most beautiful, innovative and dynamic women in Nigeria.
Obaigbo, a marketer, who has been married for three years, beat 19 other contestants to win the coveted crown.
With mouth-watering prizes like modeling contracts, community development projects, and the opportunity to represent the country in the 2021 Mrs. Universe Contest in Sri Lanka, Obaigbo would also have sponsorship opportunities for some of her pet projects, which centers on the empowerment of women.

Mrs. Benjamin Gloria Gershemwa came second, while Mrs. Tony-Nweze Makuochukwu finished in the third position.
Speaking with The Nation, the Mrs. Nigeria Queen said she feels very honoured to be crowned the overall winner of the contest, promising to use her tenure of office to advance the cause of the women folks across the country.
According to her, “I am a professional model and a beauty queen pageant, yea. But this is a huge one for me and I’m so humbled by the crown and the responsibilities that come with it.
“As a matter of fact, I am making a pledge to optimally utilise my tenure as the 2021 Mrs. Nigeria Queen to propagate the cause of the women across the world.”
