NIMC has issued a new directive for the applicants of the NIN
Funmi Opesanwo, the NIMC regional coordinator, said that N15,000 would be required to correct the dates of birth
Opesanwo added that N5,000 would be paid for the card renewal
All applicants for the National Identification Number (NIN) would be required to pay N15,000 to correct their dates of birth in the database of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
Punch reports that the NIMC’s regional coordinator, Funmi Opesanwo, stated this on Wednesday, January 6, at the commission’s office in the Alausa area of Lagos state.

Leakblast.com gathered that the NIN holders are also required to pay a processing fee of N5,000 for card renewal or card replacement as well as an address modification fee of N500.
