‘Nowhere Is Safe’: Shehu Sani Reacts As Bandit Terrorists Attack NDA, Kill Military Officers, Abducted One Other Officer

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has lamented the boldness of bandit terrorists in attacking a military facility in Kaduna State.

The former lawmaker who lamented that nowhere is safe again in Nigeria recalled how the same terrorists previously attacked the Airport staff quarters and the Federal College of Forestry mechanization, all within the same axis in Kaduna State.

His reaction comes shortly after Leakblast.com reported that gunmen suspected to be bandit terrorists have attacked the permanent site of the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna State.

According to the report, the terrorists killed two officers and abducted one other officer.

Taking to his micro-blogging site, Twitter Senator Sani wrote: “The Airport staff quarters that was once attacked, the Federal College of Forestry mechanization that was once attacked & now the Nigerian Defense Academy that is now attacked are all in the same ward, Afaka in Kaduna. No lesson learned and nowhere is safe; Disappointing”, he wrote few minutes after the news broke.

The development comes a few days after Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed proudly declared that Nigeria is winning the war against Boko Haram and other terrorists.

Citing the example of the Taliban in Afghanistan, Mohammed noted that ideological wars are not easy to fight and win but Nigeria is definitely having the upper hand and progress is being made.

He debunked claims that Nigeria is becoming a failed state due to the activities of bandits, kidnappers, and other criminals, submitting that some of the terrorists have been submitting to government troops.

According to him, the government is fully in charge and it would be totally wrong to tag Nigeria as a failed state.
