The Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ), Yobe Council has cautioned political parties and aspirants against engaging in a do or die politics.
Rajab Mohammed, Chairman of the Council gave the warning in a statement made available to newsmen noting n Damaturu.
The Chairman also admonished them to shun political thuggery and the use of dangerous weapons during political activities.

“NUJ members are hereby cautioned to be very conscious while discharging their professional duties, especially in crowdy places for safety”, the statement added.
The Chairman also appealed to members of the pen profession to sustain the ethical practice of balancing their report before going to press especially now that political activities are gathering momentum.
