Governor El Rufai has crowned VP Yemi Osinbajo as the chairman of the short people’s association in Nigeria

El-Rufai made the revelation during a Twitter banter with comedian Teju Babyface

Nigerians on social media were recently given a good laugh after Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, threw jabs as Vice President Yemi Osinabjo, in the middle of a hilarious Twitter exchange with comedian, Teju Babyface.

The short drama started after the comedian shared a throwback video on his Twitter page that captured the moment when the Kaduna governor made a guest appearance on his talk show, The Teju Babyface Show.

In the caption that accompanied the clip, Babyface had declared himself a member of the short people’s association and also taking a jab at the governor by noting that he was taller than him.

“I am a member of the Nigerian association of short people! @nelrufaiis a self-deprecating character. Sir, i am taller than you o. Hian! ,” Teju tweeted.

Reacting, Governor El-Rufai noted that he remembered the Teju Babyface interview which took place in 2010. He, however, made it clear that VP Osinabajo holds the current position as chairman of the shortest people in the country.

He said: “HE VP Osinbajo is the current chairman of the Nigerian Association of Short People….so we are represented at the highest echelons of governance! Thanks Teju”
