The Nigerian Senate today Adjourn plenary till June 7th 2022 to enable the Senators participate in their party Primaries.
It was gathered that the majority of the Senators are vying for various positions in their respective Political parties.
Among the Senators vying for Political positions includes Senator Ahmed Lawan for president under the All Progressive Congress (APC) Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie omo Agege for Governor Delta State, former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu for Governor Enugu State under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Enyinaya Abaribe for Governor Abia State under the same umbrella of PDP and many others.

The Adjournment,
Senate Leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi moved that Senate do adjourn Plenary till another legislative day.
Minority Leader seconded.
Plenary was adjourned to Tuesday, 7th June, 2022.
