The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has suspended the entry requirements for applicants seeking to be recruited as constables.

The decision was taken after the Inspector-General of Police (IG), Mohammed Adamu directed that no candidate should be disqualified irrespective of their physical appearance, age, and qualification.

The police have suspended the entry requirements for applicants seeking to be recruited as constables.

According to This Day newspaper, the message from the police boss to all commands dated August 24 directed that candidates who successfully submitted their online applications to police recruitment portal should be attended to irrespective of their physical appearance, age, and qualification.

IGP Adamu also urged police commands to ensure that the entire recruitment process is transparent and free of corruption.

Legit.ng recalls that the police had earlier mandated applicants seeking recruitment into the force as constables to meet certain requirements ranging from physical to academic qualifications.
