Premier League organisers are considering showing some of the remaining matches live on YouTube

The league has been on suspension since mid-March due to deadly coronavirus

Players are expected back in training on May 12, while they play the first round of games on June 12

A few numbers of Premier League matches could be streamed live and for free on YouTube when the 2019-20 restarts in a matter of weeks.

The English topflight has been on hold since the middle of March due to the deadly coronavirus currently ravaging the world.

According to Daily Mail, the organisers have proposed to show the remaining 92 games on Sky Sports, BT Sport, and YouTube and this is expected to last seven weeks from when it is restarted.

This measure is considered to ensure that fans catch a glimpse of every action on the pitch since they will not be allowed into match venues in a bid to further stop the spread of COVID-19.

The publication reports that most of the fixtures will beam live on Sky Sports and BT Sport, who hold the bulk of the existing broadcasting rights.

However, YouTube was brought into the equation because they are not planning to put any live match on terrestrial television as reported by The Sun.
