Ronaldo, Messi named in world’s best team of the decade as big Premier League stars miss out


 Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have been named in the world XI

 Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk and Sergio Ramos also made the list.

 Virgil Van Dijk is the only Premier League players picked on the IFFHS list.

Real Madrid stars have dominated the world team of the decade which comprised list of players who have been incredible for their teams in the last ten years.

As expected, the duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi made the list which was done by International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) according to the report on Marca.

No doubt about the fact that these two players have brought joy to the game of football for more than ten years and they are still at the best form of their careers.

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has the highest number of Ballon d’Or awards which is six, while Cristiano Ronaldo has won five so far in his career.

Starting from the goalkeeping department, Bayern Munich goalie Manuel Neuer is rated as the best in the world since the last ten years.
