Russia-Ukraine: Russia Blames Sabotage On Depot Damage


Russia’s defense ministry says that a military warehouse near the town of Dzhankoi in northern Crimea had been damaged by sabotage, Russian state-owned.

Russian President Vladimir Putin accuses the US of seeking to prolong the conflict in Ukraine.

Plumes of smoke seen at Russian military airbase in Crimea

Plumes of black smoke were seen at a Russian military airbase near the settlement of Gvardeyskoye in the centre of Russian-controlled Crimea, Russia’s Kommersant newspaper has reported.

Ukraine has neither confirmed nor denied its involvement in a recent series of blasts in Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014.

Finland will limit number of visas to Russians

Finland will reduce the number of visas issued to Russians to 10 percent of the current amount, foreign minister Pekka Haavisto has said.

He said the Finnish foreign ministry will cut the number of available visa application appointments from September 1, which will effectively lead to fewer visas issued to Russians.
