Ugandan photographer Badru Katumba has captured some dramatic pictures of the aftermath of flooding in eastern Uganda.
At least 20 people are known to have died as heavy rains caused rivers to burst their banks and triggered landslides.
In the picture above, taken in Namakwekwe, by the Nabuyonga river, a man can be seen swimming to try and retrieve bodies caught in a submerged minibus.

The vehicle got to a point where people could reach inside.

The photographer, Katumba, says that 10 bodies were found, that those who died were on their way to a wedding ceremony.
Parts of eastern Uganda are prone to natural disasters and landslides and flooding, which claim lives and destroy livelihoods, happen almost every rain season.
